A detailed pictographic depiction of the military life of General Henri Giraud from his early years, service during the First World War, post-war activities in Morocco, capture by Germans in World War II, subsequent escape and return to North Africa on a submarine. Culminating at the bottom with the General (at the request of Eisenhower) leading "all the French and Islamic forces directing them once again with the help of the Allies to chase the brute German and Italian forces out of the North African Nation . . . Supplications for his and his Allies victory."
